Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Singapore

Where is the Best Place to Stay for the Singapore F1 weekend?

We recommend that you stay at the award winning Grand Copthorne Waterfront for the Singapore Grand Prix. Here, you’re tucked away from the bustling city where you can bask in the serenity of the waterfront location, the perfect place to relax after the excitement of the races. Enjoy the city and river views through your floor-to-ceiling windows, whether it’s under a blanket of stars or the warm glow of the morning or afternoon sun.

We've been staying at this lovely hotel for years and we love that the Marina Bay Circuit is easily accessed by the MRT tube system, with a station located just outside the front of the hotel; just one of the many reasons we've picked it for you.

When it's time to refuel, you can indulge in the international restaurants from Italian cuisine to traditional Chinese. You can even wind down from the buzz of the race with a swim or relax in the jacuzzi.

When the race excitement is all over, don’t let your fun end there. After the Grand Prix, you have a full evening of concerts ahead of you to keep the energy of the weekend's vibrant atmosphere alive.

Not far from the hotel is the Marina Bay Sands Observation deck where you can take in the skyline from 56 storeys high and perhaps enjoy a glass or two of champagne.

If you're looking to hit the town, head to Singapore's largest nightclub, Marquee. Enjoy a unique night of sensorial fun, with an eight-armed ferris wheel with a photobooth in each pod, international DJ sets and much more.

The Super Pit Grandstand

Which Singapore Grand Prix tickets we recommend

For the best viewing spots of the race, you have three exceptional options to choose from when it comes to finding the Singapore Grand Prix ticket that’s right for you. All three tickets offer breathtaking views, so it's really a matter of preference of what you'd like to see when it comes to choosing between them — why not move around and experience more than one across the race weekend?

Whichever you choose, don't forget to take advantage of your complimentary ride on the Singapore Flyer ferris wheel for spectacular views of the track. We recommend getting there early, as your ride is subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Republic Grandstand

The Republic Grandstand is a Spectate favourite, that's why it's included as standard in our Singapore Grand Prix Packages. It offers one of the most thrilling vantage points in Formula 1. Located along Raffles Boulevard, it provides a front-row view of the action as drivers accelerate toward Turn 5, a critical point where they brake hard before entering the winding section of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Turn 1 Grandstand

There's usually a lot of action on the first corner of the Singapore Grand Prix, so the Turn 1 Grandstand is always a great choice. You get great views of the race start as well as a brilliant view of the pit lane exit.

Super PIT Grandstand

Opt for the Super PIT Grandstand for views of the start and finish line, where the passion for the Grand Prix comes alive.

You won’t be able to see the podium with this ticket, however both Grandstands open their gates on Sunday and allow guests to go onto the circuit and watch the podium celebration and firework display take place. This is worth doing, as there is superb atmosphere that keeps the buzz of the event alive right until the very end.
